Fan favorite, Ermac, is joining Mortal Kombat 1 in Early Access on April 16, with the full release scheduled for April 23. In addition, NetherRealm Studios confirmed that Mavado will join the Kameo roster in May. For those unfamiliar with Ermac, NetherRealm Studios explains, he’s “a collection of souls bound together by Quan Chi’s dark magic, intended to function as a group mind.” To gain access to Ermac, players must purchase the Premium Edition of the game or obtain the Kombat Pack for the Standard Edition.
The Kombat Pack includes previously released DLC characters such as Omni-Man, Quan Chi, and Peacemaker. After Ermac’s release, the Kombat Pack will later add Homelander and Takeda Takahashi.
