Originally introduced in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, the vampire Nitara is joining Mortal Kombat 1’s roster. Bringing the character to life is actress Megan Fox, who says Nitara being a vampire resonates with her for whatever reason. Nitara also made an appearance in Mortal Kombat: Deception and Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, and also in the Mortal Kombat X: Comic Series.

The marketing for Mortal Kombat 1 leading up to its September 19 release has been exceptional. It seems like we’re getting a new trailer with roster updates every week. Since its official announcement in May, NetherRealm studios has continuously released more information about the reboot, which will have players experiencing a reborn Mortal Kombat Universe created by Fire God Liu Kang.
