Developer Nixxes has shared the PC requirements for Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, which is set to launch in just a few days on October 31. Considering the original was released in 2017, it’s a bit strange that Sony opted to remaster Horizon Zero Dawn, especially since it still looks good on PC. But the remastered version also includes over 10 hours of re-recorded dialogue and new motion capture to go along with its graphical improvements. For those interested in getting Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered on PC, the minimum requirements to play at 720p at 30 FPS are very reasonable, with an i3-8100 or Ryzen 3 1300X required along with a GTX 1650 or RX 5500 XT.
The average player will want to aim for the recommended specs for a 1080p at 60 FPS experience. That requires an i5-8600 or Ryzen 5 3600 with an RTX 3060 or RX 5700. Gamers with 1440p or 4K monitors will need an i7-9700 or Ryzen 7 3700X with an RTX 3070 or RX 6800 to get 60 FPS at 1440p or 30 FPS at 4K. At the top of the requirements, 4K at 60 FPS needs an i7-11700 or Ryzen 7 5700X with an RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XT. Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will require 16GB of RAM and 135GB of storage.
