Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed the PC system requirements for Diablo IV, and hopefully they’ve figured out the issues with certain video cards. Set to release in early June, Diablo IV is hosting another open beta from May 12 to May 14, if you didn’t get a chance to play the previous open beta. We collectively put in nearly 100 hours playing through all the different classes across the two beta weekends and walked away with some concerns about the next entry in the storied franchise. While there are some changes as a result of feedback from the betas, we’re still annoyed that the team won’t add back a map overlay.
Diablo IV Minimum Requirements
- OS: 64-bit Windows 10 version 1909 or newer
- Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD FX-8350
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon R9 280
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: SSD with 90GB available space
- Internet: Broadband Connection
Minimum requirements deliver 1080p native resolution / 720p render solution, low graphics settings, and 30fps. Diablo IV will attempt to run on hardware below these minimum specifications, but the game’s experience may be significantly diminished.
Diablo IV Medium (Recommended Requirements)
- OS: 64-bit Windows 10 version 1909 or newer
- Processor: Intel Core i5-4670K or AMD R3-1300X
- Memory: 16GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 470
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: SSD with 90GB available space
- Internet: Broadband Connection
Recommended requirements will result in 1080p resolution, medium graphics settings, and 60fps.
Diablo IV High Requirements

- Processor: Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 2700X
- Memory: 16GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: SSD with 90GB available space
- Internet: Broadband Connection
These specifications keep resolution at 1080p at 60fps, but delivers high graphics settings.
Ultra 4K Requirements
- OS: 64-bit Windows 10 version 1909 or newer
- Processor: Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
- Memory: 32GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series for fully supported DLSS3 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: SSD with 90GB available space
- Internet: Broadband Connection
Meeting these requirements delivers 4K resolution, ultra graphics settings, and 60fps.
Although some of these requirements specify 60fps, the game can perform at a higher frame rate and isn’t capped at 60fps.
