Hearthstone‘s Leeroy Jenkins and Starving Buzzard are seeing changes on September 22 according to a recent post by Zeriyah on the Hearthstone forums. Leeroy Jenkins, often used as a finisher for multiple decks will be changed from a four mana-cost card to a five mana-cost card while Starving Buzzard will now cost five mana and will be a 3/2 rather than a two-mana cost 2/1.
While the Leeroy Jenkins change was expected and will certainly slow down some decks, mainly Miracle Rogues that depended on double Shadowstep with Leeroy as a finisher, the change to Starving Buzzard will drastically impact the Hunter class, changing the Starving Buzzard -> Unleash the Hounds combo to an eight mana-cost combo.
Blizzard also announced that after these two card changes on September 22, no other changes will be made to cards until after the Hearthstone World Championship at BlizzCon.
