After breaking $800 million in revenue on its launch day, Grand Theft Auto V sales has passed the $1-billion mark in a mere three days of availability. The announcement comes officially from the game’s publisher, Take-Two Interactive.
That means Grand Theft Auto V is the fastest entertainment product to hit the $1-billion milestone, decimating the previous record that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 set when it did it in 15 days.
But let’s not go and count out the Call of Duty franchise just yet. Call of Duty: Ghosts will be available for plenty more platforms when it’s released later this year in November. Will it beat out Grand Theft Auto V?
