Grand Theft Auto V Heading to PC, PS4 and Xbox One
Grand Theft Auto V will be heading to the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Rockstar Games has announced. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will be released on November 18, 2014 while the PC version will follow January 27, 2015. Taking advantage of the new consoles’ capabilities as well as the PC, Grand Theft Auto V will feature a range of visual and technical upgrades such as increased draw distances and higher resolution. In addition, players will also have access to new weapons, vehicles and activities while experiencing additional wildlife, denser traffic, a new foliage system and enhanced damage and weather effects.
It isn’t all upgrades in the visual department either as Rockstar Games has revealed that the new versions of Grand Theft Auto V will also have 100 additional new songs and new DJ mixes from returning DJs across the game’s 17 radio stations.
Gamers choosing to pre-order Grand Theft Auto V for the PC, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will receive $500k in-game bonus cash for Story Mode and additional $500k for their GTA Online in-game bank account.
Players that currently have the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 versions can look forward to exclusive content including rare versions of classic vehicles to collect, new activities such as wildlife photography and new shooting range challenges. Those that enjoy the Grand Theft Auto Online experience will be able to enjoy up to 30 players on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and existing players will be able to transfer all their characters and progression to their choice of PC, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
