With Grand Theft Auto VI confirmed to be released sometime this fall on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, it’s time to get Grand Theft Auto V into as many players’ hands as possible. That’s likely why the game is making a return to Game Pass on April 15, including the recent Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced on PC Game Pass. The announcement comes a day after Xbox revealed the first wave of titles heading to Game Pass in April 2025, which include Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition and South of Midnight. Grand Theft Auto V will be available to Ultimate, PC, and Standard subscribers.
PC Game Pass subscribers will get access to Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced, which includes new vehicles and modifications, Chameleon Paints, and more from Hao’s Special Works. For those who want to play GTA Online with their friends, they’ll need to be playing the same edition. Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass Standard players will have access to all console and PC editions, so they can download whichever they need to play with their friends. The same goes for PC Game Pass players, who will have access to both editions, allowing them to cross-play with Steam and Epic Games users.
