Gran Turismo 7 has released details on update 1.55, which is available starting on January 29 at 10:00 PM Pacific or January 30 at 1:00 AM Eastern. The update adds four new cars, extra Café menu, new events to World Circuits, an update to Gran Turismo Sophy, and a new featured Curation in Scapes.
The four vehicles being added are Gran Turismo F3500-A, 1987 EF Honda Civic Si Extra, 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, and 2018 Toyota C-HR. All four vehicles can be purchased from Brand Central, and I’m particularly excited about the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N since it’s my personal car (above). The Gran Turismo F3500-A is a Gran Turismo original formula machine that was created from a deep admiration for early 1990s F1 cars. The EF Honda Civic is a classic favorite among Honda and JDM enthusiasts, and the Civic Si Extra EF features the famous ZC engine. The Ioniq 5 N collected numerous Car of the Year awards in 2024, and it’s by far one of the most fun cars I’ve ever owned, even though it’s an EV. The final vehicle is an unconventional crossover that took on the Nürburgring 24 Hours.
Along with the four vehicles, Extra Menu No. 43: Group C is available for Collector Level 47 and above, while three new events have been added to World Circuits:
- Sunday Cup: Kyoto Driving Park – Miyabi
- Japanese FF Challenge 450: Sardegna – Road Track – C
- World Touring Car 600: Autódromo de Interlagos
Gran Turismo Sophy is the next-generation AI agent of the game. It’s now available on Autódromo de Interlagos and Mount Panorama Circuit. Players can find the GT Sophy icon in the Quick Race menu on each track to test their skills against Gran Turismo Sophy.
The final addition to Gran Turismo 7 update 1.55 is that Chromatic Drive has been added as a featured Curation in Scapes.
