As great as Ghost of Tsushima’s single-player story was, the game’s multiplayer Legends DLC was where we spent most of our time. Thankfully, Legends will return with Ghost of Yōtei in 2026 as free DLC, offering two-player story missions and four-player survival matches. In Ghost of Yōtei’s Legends, players choose one of four classes and take on giant, demonic versions of the Yōtei Six, plus new enemies.

For those unfamiliar with Ghost of Tsushima’s Legends, it featured a host of multiplayer story missions and a horde-like survival mode, where we had the most fun as a group. It was a surprisingly entertaining free DLC for a game seemingly designed to deliver a compelling single-player experience.

Today’s Legends announcement was accompanied by a new Song of Vengeance trailer, which provides a good overview of the game. Ghost of Yōtei launches on PlayStation 5 consoles on October 2.
