It’s been nearly 20 years since the last time Princess Peach had her own game, which was Super Princess Peach on the Nintendo DS in 2005. Today, during the Nintendo Direct, a short teaser for an upcoming Princess Peach game debuted. It currently has no official title, and Nintendo didn’t reveal many details, but from what we can see, the game is 2.5D side-scroller, since we can see Peach moving up and down in the environment.

The setting appears to be a theater production of sorts, where Princess Peach transforms when she stands on a particular spot on stage. We also see a star-shape companion who will join Princess Peach on this adventure. The game is set to release sometime in 2024, so expect more details in the coming months.

The short teaser trailer from June’s Nintendo Direct is timestamped below.
