The Games with Gold November 2014 lineup has been revealed with Xbox Live Gold subscribers getting Volgarr the Viking on the Xbox One while the Xbox 360 will get Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise and Red Faction: Guerilla. According to Microsoft, Volgarr the Viking is a retro-inspired game filled with 16-bit pixel graphic and needing only a couple buttons to play. Players will take on the role of a sword-swingin’, shield-blockin’, spear-throwin’ bearded Viking. Volgarr the Viking will be available November 1 – 30 in select territories and will be normally priced $9.99.
Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise is the sequel to the original Viva Piñata and builds on the original game with better controls, more tools and more robust multiplayer support. The third free game as part of the Games with Gold November 2014 lineup is Red Faction: Guerilla which takes place on Mars in 2125 and is an open-world experience building on previous Red Faction titles.
