The second wave of Game Pass October 2024 titles has been announced with several additions from Activision Blizzard. Before we get there, however, South Park: The Fracture but Whole heads to Cloud, Console, and PC on October 16 for Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard subscribers. It’s the sequel to 2014’s South Park: The Stick of Truth, and players take on the role of the New Kid, joining popular characters Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman in an RPG adventure.

On October 17, Donut County makes a return to Cloud, Console, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard subscribers. This story-based physics puzzle game has you playing as an ever-growing hole in the ground. It’s as unique as it sounds, but if that doesn’t interest you, MechWarrior 5: Clans will also be available on that day on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. It’s a day one release for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, where players become new Smoke Jaguar pilots in the Clan Invasion of the Inner Sphere.

The big title for the second half of October is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on Cloud, Console, and PC on October 25 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 comes from Treyarch and Raven with a cinematic single-player campaign, familiar multiplayer experience, and the return of round-based Zombies. That isn’t the only Call of Duty game for October 25. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone are both heading to Cloud for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.

If you’re not a first-person shooter fan, there are more to look forward to this month. Ashen joins the lineup on October 29 for Cloud, Console, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard subscribers. Another returning title to Game Pass, Ashen is an open world co-op action RPG from A44 Games.

To celebrate Halloween, Dead Island 2 heads to PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers on October 31. The title is also part of the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog October 2024 lineup and is the long-awaited sequel to the original Dead Island that released in 2011.

Previously announced, StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft II: Campaign Collection will both be available on PC starting November 5 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. Experience one of the most, if not the most important, real-time strategy franchises of all time.

Xbox also announced that the following games will be leaving the Game Pass library on October 31:

  • Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Headbangers (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Inkulinati (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Lonely Mountain’s Downhill (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Mineko’s Night Market (Cloud, Console, and PC)
