It’s October and there are plenty of new titles to play, but Game Pass subscribers also have a few great additions in the first half of the month. Starting tomorrow, MLB The Show 24 (Console) and Open Roads (Console) will be available on Game Pass Standard. MLB The Show 24 lets players live out their baseball dreams, while Open Roads follows Tess Devine and her mother as they embark on a journey into their past. Sifu also joins the lineup on October 2 on Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard for Cloud, Console, and PC. The realistic third-person brawler features tight Kung Fu combat mechanics, as players take on the role of a Pak Mei disciple seeking to avenge their family’s murder.
On October 7, Mad Streets will join Cloud, Console, and PC on Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. This physics-based party game mixes in brawler mechanics to deliver entertainment while punching someone in the face. My personal recommendation, Inscryption, arrives on October 10 for Cloud, Console, and PC via Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. This card game blends deckbuilding roguelike mechanics with escape-room-style puzzles and psychological horror, creating a memorable experience. Don’t skip it if you like deckbuilding games.
Xbox also revealed the games that will be leaving the Game Pass library on October 15:
- Dyson Sphere Program (PC)
- Everspace 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- From Space (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- F1 Manager 2023 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Scorn (Cloud, Console, and PC)
