It’s a new month, which means it’s time to discover what’s being added to the Game Pass lineup. Along with the surprise announcement of Ninja Gaiden 4 during the Developer_Direct, Game Pass also added Ninja Gaiden 2 Black to its lineup, a remaster of the 2008 game. The service is following up on that release with several additions to Game Pass Standard, including the highly anticipated Avowed.

First, Far Cry New Dawn is available starting today on Cloud, Console, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard subscribers. This entry in the Far Cry series is set in a post-apocalyptic Hope County, Montana, 17 years after a global nuclear catastrophe. Tomorrow, Another Crab’s Treasure joins Game Pass Standard on Console. This is an unexpectedly great twist on the soulslike formula, where players assume the role of Kril the hermit crab trying to reclaim his shell. Joining Game Pass Standard on February 5 are Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes on Console and Starfield (review) on Xbox Series X|S. The former is a JRPG adventure inspired by the Suikoden series and allows players to assemble a six-party team from a cast of over a hundred heroes. The latter needs no introduction because Starfield is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios. A significant departure from the settings of The Elder Scrolls and Fallout, Starfield takes the adventure into space.

On February 6, Madden NFL 25 will be available through EA Play on Cloud, Console, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. It’s the latest entry in the long-running Madden franchise, and those who grab the Game Pass version get a Supercharge Pack from February 6 to March 6. A week later, Kingdom Two Crowns will be available on February 13 on Cloud and Console for Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass Standard subscribers. It’s a returning title to the Game Pass Library and is a 2D side-scrolling strategy/resource management game that can be enjoyed solo or in co-op.

The biggest title joining the lineup in February 2025 is Avowed, available on February 18. It’ll be available as a day one title on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members. It’s a first-person, fantasy action RPG from the team at Obsidian Entertainment. It’s set in the same universe as the Pillars of Eternity franchise in the world of Eora. Players will adventure through the Living Lands, an island filled with mystery and danger. Game Pass subscribers who opt for the Premium Upgrade Addon for $22.49 get up to five days of early access, two sets of premium skin packs, and access to an Avowed digital artbook and original soundtrack.

Xbox also confirmed that the following titles will be leaving the Game Pass library on February 15:

  • A Little to the Left (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Bloodstained Ritual of the Night (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • EA Sports UFC 3 (Console) EA Play
  • Indivisible (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Merge and Blade (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Return to Grace (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Tales of Arise (Cloud, Console, and PC)
