Like those snazzy Cactuar Earrings in the image above? You could be getting a set in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn for free!
At the 2013 Tokyo Game Show, attendees will be able to check out Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and take on the Titan Battle challenge for a chance to win awesome prizes. Luckily, for those in attendance, it’s not the Titan Hard Mode battle that everyone is smashing their head against the last week in the live game. Instead, it is special version of the fight that is less challenging and designed for players who are new to the game to enjoy – similar to the Ifrit Battle that was done at this year’s E3 in North America.
Those that manage to defeat Titan get an exclusive “I Beat Titan” t-shirt and surprisingly, Square Enix is also giving a prize away for those that can’t even attend. Each time a group conquers Titan at the event, a representative from that winning team will draw a World Server name at random. All players on that chosen World Server will be getting a free pair of Cactuar Earrings in the game.
Considering the show has just kicked off and several teams have already succeeded, it’s likely that every World Server will ultimately be drawn from the pool and every player of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will get their hands on a set of Cactuar Earrings. And don’t worry if you see your server name and your Moogle hasn’t delivered you mail yet. Square Enix hasn’t announced when those Cactuar Earrings will be distributed.
