Bradley the Badger, the debut project from Red Dead Redemption and Mario + Rabbids veterans Christian Cantamessa and Davide Soliani, has officially found itself a publisher. Focus Entertainment announced its partnership with Day 4 Night Studios today, picking up the original IP first revealed during The Game Awards 2025 ceremony.
Players step into the shoes of Bradley, the beloved mascot of a classic platform game, voiced by Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning actor Evan Peters. Lost and far from home, Bradley gets pulled into a series of unfamiliar, hostile, and curiously unfinished worlds, trapped in the depths of development hell. Along the way, players develop abilities reminiscent of a game developer’s toolkit, letting them bend the rules, reshape environments, and perhaps even save Bradley’s home. The adventure combines action, exploration, and puzzles, all wrapped in an offbeat story packed with references to some of the greatest video game genres of all time.
Day 4 Night Studios was founded in 2024 by a multi-disciplinary team of industry veterans who have worked together for over fifteen years, and Bradley the Badger marks the studio’s first project. Vincent Chataignier, deputy chief executive officer of Focus Entertainment Publishing, said the game “immediately stood out through its tone, personality, and potential.” Soliani and Cantamessa, who serve as co-founders and game directors, describe it as a project about imagination, creativity, and rediscovering the spark that made them fall in love with video games in the first place.
