Announced at Tokyo Game Show 2024, popular titles from the Final Fantasy and Mana series are now available on Xbox Series X|S. The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series, which includes Final Fantasy I through VI, joins Legend of Mana and Trials of Mana on Xbox. Both Mana games are available on Xbox Game Pass, while the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series is available at a special discounted price of $59.99 USD for a limited time (regularly $74.99 USD).
Already available on PlayStation 4, Switch, Android, iOS, and PC, the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series needs no introduction. It delivers the original six Final Fantasy games with updated quality-of-life upgrades and visuals, along with rearranged soundtracks and gameplay options like the ability to turn off random encounters, or select a multiplier to experience gained. Players can purchase all six titles as a bundle or individually.
The same applies to the two Mana titles, which have also been available on PlayStation 4, Switch, Android, iOS, and PC for quite some time. Legend of Mana is the fourth entry in the Mana series and the remastered edition offers updated visuals, rearranged soundtrack, and gameplay toggles for turning off enemy encounters and the Ring Ring Land mini game. Trials of Mana, which is arguably the most popular of the recent releases, is a remake of the third entry where players get to choose a party of three from six unique characters. If you’re new to the Mana series, I highly recommend Trials of Mana as an excellent entry point into the franchise.
