Final Fantasy IX is now available on mobile devices with iOS and Android featuring high-definition movies and character models. A fan-favorite in the franchise, Final Fantasy IX tells a remastered tale of love, magic and self-discovery. New features include cloud saves so that players can back up save data to play across other compatible devices, an auto-save function and seven all-new optional booster features like high speed mode and no encounter mode. Players can also maximize character levels, magic stone counts and gil.
Final Fantasy IX was first released in 2000 and tells the story of Zidane Tribal, who plans to kidnap the princess of Alexandria, Garnet Til Alexandros the 17th. An unlikely series of events leads to Zidane, Garnet, black mage Vivi Ornitier, the loyal knight Adelbert Steiner and other memorable characters taking an epic journey as they learn about themselves, the secrets of the Crystal and a malevolent force that threatens to destroy their world.

To celebrate the release of the game, it will be available at a discounted price of $16.99 before going to its standard price of $20.99 starting February 21. Final Fantasy IX will also be heading to Steam at a later date, featuring keyboard and mouse compatibility, full Steam trading cards and achievements.
