Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will arrive for the PlayStation 4 on April 14, 2014. Square Enix has also announced the collector’s edition for the game which will come in an exclusive box featuring artwork from Yoshitaka Amano and include exclusive art cards, an art book, a soundtrack and a security token. In-game items include the Helm of Light, a Baby Behemoth minion, a Coeurl mount, Behemoth Chocobo Armor, Wind-up Moogle and a Fat Chocobo mount. The collector’s edition will be priced at $79.99.
A digital-only collector’s edition is available through PlayStation Network for $59.99 while the standard edition will cost $39.99.
Current FFXIV: A Realm Reborn on the PlayStation 3 will be able to transfer to the PlayStation 4 at no cost, but the transfer is one-way and players won’t be able to revert back to PlayStation 3 status.
The beta for A Realm Reborn on the PlayStation 4 will start on February 22, 2014.
