The FFXIV PS4 beta test schedule has been announced and will be conducted in two phases. The first of the FFXIV PS4 beta test phases will start on February 22, 2014 and end on March 3, 2014 while the second phase will kick off on April 4, 2014 and end on April 7, 2014. According to Square Enix, players who own the PS4 version of FFXIV will be able to transfer their accounts to the PS4 version free starting on April 11, 2014.
The FFXIV PS4 version will also take advantage of the PS4’s hardware and touchpad on the Dualshock 4 controller, and those with a PS Vita will be able to remote play on the handheld system.
