FFXIV housing will be added to the online MMORPG in the game’s first major patch, which is expected to arrive sometime in mid November. Dubbed Patch 2.1, FFXIV housing will join The Wolves’ Den PvP zone along with a new FATE featuring Final Fantasy XIII’s heroine, Lightning.
To give players a preview of the extensive housing feature, the FFXIV team has released a new video showcasing what’s currently under development. FFXIV housing will offer three different sizes of homes, while the colors of the walls, type of door, windows, roof material, chimney, weather vane and fencing will all be customizable.
In total, FFXIV housing will offer over 300 customizable features to help make Free Company homes truly unique. Personal homes will be added later on to the game.
