Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, which officially launched on May 22, has quickly sold over 500,000 units. Available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC, the relaxing RPG title is a sequel to Fantasy Life from 2014 on the 3DS. This new title features 14 “Lives” spanning across combat, crafting, and gathering roles. I’ve been playing it since its launch and have been enjoying my time with it. As a fan of the original Fantasy Life, I’m glad to see this sequel has surpassed my expectations and that all the delays were worth it.

Along with announcing that over 500,000 copies have been sold, developer Level5 confirmed a free DLC is in development, titled “Update the World!” It will add more content for players so they can enjoy the game even longer. In addition, there will be a special campaign, and participants will have a chance to win a special commemorative illustration of Rem and a game code for Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time on a platform of their choice.
