After what seemed like decades of disappointing video game adaptations, it seems we’re finally getting some worth watching. We’ve seen the excellent Arcane, HBO’s The Last of Us, and The Super Mario Bros. Movie, to name a few. Now, Prime Video’s Fallout is just a month away, and its official trailer has us excited for the series. Fallout, based on the popular Bethesda franchise, is brought to us by executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, known for HBO’s Westworld.

The official trailer released today looks to fulfill the promise of bringing the game’s dark humor to life. It offers a glimpse into Ella Purnell’s character, vault dweller Lucy, and her struggle to adapt to the dangerous, irradiated wasteland. We also get a glimpse at Moldaver (Sarita Choudhury) and Ma June (Dale Dickey). An exciting bit of news, all eight episodes will now premiere on April 11, a day sooner than previously announced.

The series also features Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Moisés Arias, Kyle MacLachlan, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O’Hagan, and Xelia Mendes-Jones.
