The Dying Light “hard mode” patch begins rolling out today and will be available on all platforms in North and South America. The update will be available on PC and Xbox One in all other regions starting tomorrow, while PlayStation 4 gamers outside North and South America will get the hard mode patch starting March 14.

The latest content pack for Dying Light is free for all players and comes with extra outfits, new weapons to be found in the quarantine zone, gameplay tweaks and the highly-anticipated Hard Mode. The Hard Mode will present a new challenge for die-hard survivors and Techland has released a video – which you can watch below – providing an overview on the new feature. New weapons being added include the Bone Splitter and Rune Hammer.
Also going live today is the Ultimate Survivor Bundle DLC (in North and South America) and is part of the Season Pass or can be bought separately for $4.99. The Ultimate Survivor Bundle DLC will land in all other regions tomorrow and includes four one-of-a-kind weapons (The Constable, the Night Club, Lacerator and Buzz Killer) and three distinctive character outfits (The Ninja, Urban Explorer and Special Agent).
