Bethesda has revealed the six multiplayer modes heading to Doom in a new video. The short video details all six of the multiplayer modes, which include Soul Harvest, Freeze Tag, Warpath, Clan Arena, Domination and Team Deathmatch.

In Soul Harvest, players will compete in a variant of Team Deathmatch where each player drops a soul after dying. Players from either team can collect the souls, but points are only awarded for collecting an opposing player’s soul. That means if you’re in the area of combat when your teammate’s soul drops, you can grab it to prevent the other team from getting a point.

Freeze Tag is a bit different than anything we have seen, where players aren’t killed but frozen. Frozen bodies can however, be destroyed by an environmental hazard to trigger a respawn. The goal of the mode is to have the least frozen players on your team when time runs out, or if an entire team is frozen then they lose. Players can unfreeze their teammates by standing near them for a short period of time.

Warpath is a bit like a king-of-the-hill mode, except the control area is on the move. The winning team must reach a preset score or have the highest score when time runs out.

The remaining three Doom multiplayer modes are fairly standard in the first-person shooter genre. Domination involves three capture points spread across the map while Clan Arena is similar to deathmatch except there are no pickups on the map, meaning no health, armor or respawning.

Doom launches on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 13. A closed multiplayer beta will be held on all platforms from March 31 through April 3.
