If you were thinking Diablo IV might get delayed, think again. Blizzard Entertainment president Mike Ybarra has confirmed on Twitter the launch time for Diablo IV’s Early Access. Those who pre-order the Deluxe and Ultimate editions will get access to the game starting Thursday, June 1 at 4:00 PM PDT. That means 12:00am London Time on June 2, and 8:00am Seoul Time. Regular launch will actually be on June 5 at 4:00 PM PDT, so the official launch date of June 6 is actually based on European time.
The development team has also shared a video, titled Into the Endgame, where it delves into some of the features you can expect once you hit max level in Diablo IV. The video goes over Capstone and Nightmare dungeons, Paragon Boards and the Codex of Power, Overworld experiences, and Fields of Hatred.
Diablo IV recently held an “open beta” for those who pre-ordered the game, followed by an actual open beta where everyone had an opportunity to check out the game. We’re still a bit underwhelmed by what Diablo IV promises to bring and we have our fair share of concerns. But we will wait patiently to see how it all comes together before making official judgment!
