Destiny Release Date Set for September 9, 2014

The Destiny release date has finally been set for September 9, 2014, Bungie announced today. Prior to the Destiny release date however, there will be a beta test for the game to ensure all the kinks are worked out before it’s available to the public. Though no official date was announced for the Destiny beta, Bungie expects to kick it off in summer 2014 and it will be available first on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

Destiny will be available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Those that pre-ordered Destiny will have guaranteed access to the beta.
