Bungie has released the Destiny box art which shows off the upcoming game’s three classes of Guardian: Titan, Hunter and Warlock. The developer also promised that a new gameplay trailer will be released tomorrow along with some exciting announcements for those looking to suit up and explore the new frontier. Chances are we’ll get our first glimpse at pre-order bonuses, limited and special edition packages as well as a release date, or at the very least a beta date. Given the pattern of recent releases, those that pre order Destiny will probably get access to the beta.
Destiny has been confirmed to be released sometime next year and is a first-person shooter that will incorporate MMO aspects to the game. Bungie has been steering away from calling Destiny an MMO since it basically won’t be – players will all share the same world once they’re matched together. In other words, it’s a permanently instanced MMO.
