First revealed at the announcement for the Sony PlayStation 4, Capcom has confirmed that Deep Down will be console exclusive to the PlayStation 4. Since it was first shown, the company has kept relatively quiet on the game other than that it will be an online RPG and a playable demo will be available at the 2013 Tokyo Game Show.
Deep Down is being built on Capcom’s new Panta Rhei engine, and while initially it was rumored that Deep Down would be related to Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma, the company has also confirmed that the two games will not be related.
No release date has been announced for Deep Down, which is a working title for the game. It is unknown if Deep Down will make its way to PC, but it would make sense considering it’s an online-only RPG.
