Cyberpunk 2077 has had a big year, significantly enhanced by the version 2.0 update of the base game and the release of the Phantom Liberty expansion. In October, CD Projekt Red confirmed Cyberpunk 2077 had sold over 25 million copies and in its third quarter earnings report, the developer revealed that since its launch, Phantom Liberty has sold 4.3 million copies, giving it an estimated 20 percent attachment ratio. Released on September 26, Phantom Liberty achieved impressive sales, with three million copies sold in its first week alone.

At the 41st Annual Golden Joystick Awards, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty took home awards for Best Game Expansion and Best Game Trailer. The game is a contender in multiple categories at this year’s The Game Awards, including Best Narrative, Best Performance (Idris Elba as Solomon Reed), Players’ Voice, Best Ongoing, and Best Community Support.

Cyberpunk 2077 is getting an Ultimate Edition that launches on December 5, bundling the base game with Phantom Liberty.
