The Xbox Game Pass July 2024 wave 2 lineup was a bit light on titles, but it has some very good ones, including Dungeons of Hinterberg and Capcom’s Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, which I have been enjoying for the last few days. However, if nothing interests you, you might be excited to hear Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is a surprise addition and will be available tomorrow, July 24 on Game Pass for Console, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Ultimate. Players will get access to the single-player campaign, multiplayer, and open-world Zombies experience.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III was released on November 10, 2023 and immediately follows the events of Modern Warfare II. The story follows Captain Price, Ghost, and the rest of Task Force 141 as they continue the hunt for Vladimir Makarov. The game is the latest Activision Blizzard title to join Game Pass, which will also have Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 as a day one title. Only time will tell if Call of Duty on the service justifies the recent price increases of the subscription service.
