Tomorrow, August 5, Year 3 of Street Fighter 6 officially kicks off with the addition of Sagat. However, some fans are already looking forward to the second Year 3 character: the popular C. Viper. Making her debut at Evo 2025 in Las Vegas this past weekend, C. Viper is the research director for SiRN and she’s looking for a volunteer for her latest development. The trailer was essentially a teaser, but it gives fans their first look at the character and her style in Street Fighter 6. C. Viper is set to launch in fall 2025, followed by pro wrestler Alex in early spring 2026 and Ingrid in late spring 2026, rounding out the Year 3 characters.

Alongside the first look at C. Viper, Capcom unveiled swimsuit-themed Outfit 4 costumes for seven characters: Cammy, Luke, Chun-Li, Manon, Jamie, Kimberly, and A.K.I. These summer-themed outfits will be available tomorrow alongside the Sagat release.

Originally launched in 2023, Street Fighter 6 continues to thrive with its expanded roster, which appeals not only to competitive players but also to those who enjoy the single-player World Tour mode. As I mentioned in my Street Fighter 6 review, the game appeals to casual players, returning fighters, seasoned veterans, and pros during an era when fighting games are growing in popularity.
