Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles during this holiday season, 505 Games has confirmed. The game will also be heading to Apple iOS and Google Android devices later this year. It is also being reported by IGN that Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will gain a few additions, including a director’s commentary track, a concept art gallery and a soundtrack.

Originally developed by Starbreeze Studios for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 systems, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons first launched in 2013 before 505 Games purchased the title, its trademarks and domain names earlier this year. The game follows the story of two brothers seeking a cure for their ailing father. It features unique controls where the player manages both brothers simultaneously to solve puzzles in order to progress through the game.
The story-driven, puzzle-platformer won numerous awards including Best Xbox Game at the 2013 VGX Award Show and currently has a 90 Metacritic rating for the PC version, 86 for the Xbox 360 version and 85 for the PlayStation 3 version.
