The Bravely Default release date for North American has been set for February 7, 2014. Nintendo announced the Bravely Default release date during today’s Nintendo Direct dedicated to 2DS and 3DS games that will be releasing through early 2014.
Bravely Default will also be available as a Collector’s Edition in North America that will add an art book, 34 Augmented Reality cards and a soundtrack to the game package. In today’s Nintendo Direct, the company gave more info on Bravely Default, unveiling some of the game’s battle mechanics, including an ability to freeze time in order to attack enemies and the ability to gather “sleep points” while the game is in sleep mode.
As with most RPGs from Square Enix, Bravely Default will have plenty of customization options for its characters through abilities, spells, classes and more. Players will also be able to summon StreetPass friends to assist them in the game in a variety of ways.
