Bravely Default sales have topped the 200,000 mark in the U.S. according to Nintendo. The newest IP from Square Enix proves that Japanese RPGs still have a place in North America and the tally includes both physical and digital copies. Bravely Default is exclusive to the Nintendo 2DS and 3DS handheld consoles and was released on February 7, 2014 in North America. A full sequel to the game, titled Bravely Second, will likely be heading to the U.S. as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time playing through Bravely Default and we’ll be getting our review of the game up shortly.
