Unless you’ve been living underneath a giant rock, you probably know The Super Mario Bros. movie has finally been released. The animated film has already set new records worldwide and today, Illumination released the official music video for “Peaches,” the now famous song Bowser sings in the movie. If you’re a fan of Jack Black’s signature humor and musical prowess (Tenacious D), you’re in for a treat with this catchy tune.
The song is performed by Jack Black, who plays the role of Bowser in the film and is co-written by Black, Aaron Horvath, Michael Jelenic, Eric Osmond, and John Spiker. After watching the music video, it’s really no surprise that the Super Mario Bros. movie has resonated with fans, but not movie critics.
While there isn’t much to say about this fantastic music video, we recommend avoiding it if you haven’t seen the movie and wish to steer clear of any potential spoilers, even though it doesn’t reveal much. Nonetheless, consider yourself warned!
Don’t forget to check out the movie’s soundtrack, which features a collection of great tracks from Nintendo composer Koji Kando and composer Brian Tyler.
