The Super Mario Bros. Movie broke numerous records this year and is now poised to potentially win several Golden Globe awards. Unsurprisingly, the movie has received nominations for Best Motion Picture – Animated, along with Cinematic and Box Office Achievement. What might be a surprise, however, is the movie’s song “Peaches” has also received a nomination for Best Original Song, Motion Picture. Peaches, performed by Jack Black, who also voiced the iconic Bowser in the movie, is also known for his work with Tenacious D.
With the nomination, there is actually the possibility Jack Black will take the stage at the awards show to perform the song live. Knowing Black, he would probably do it completely dressed up as Bowser himself. For those who haven’t yet heard this popular song from the movie, the official music video is available below.
