Bethesda has announced the Fallout 4 release date: November 10, 2015. In a surprising release date reveal at its first-ever E3 press conference, Bethesda Softworks’ Todd Howard took to the stage to show off numerous features in the upcoming game that will arrive before the year is over. Some of the features shown off in the Fallout 4 demo during the E3 press conference included player customization, extensive weapon customization options and even crafting. In addition, Howard confirmed that the events of Fallout 4 will begin prior to nuclear devastation and players will be able to create a female Vault dweller as their main character.

Fallout 4 will put you in control as the sole survivor of Vault 111, surfacing 200 years after the nuclear event. The company also showed off what will be included in the Fallout 4 Collector’s Edition: a real-life Pip Boy that will be compatible with your smartphone and a mobile app that will serve as a functional second screen, essentially bringing the Pip Boy to life through your smartphone. Howard demo’ed the app on stage, which appears to be an exact replica to what you’ll be able to control within the game with the virtual Pip Boy.

Adding even more exciting to the reveal for the Fallout 4 release date, Howard also showed off new mobile game Fallout Shelter that actually began rolling out following the company’s press conference.
