Bandai Namco confirmed it will announce the next remastered Tales title on August 19 at 7:00 AM Pacific (10:00 AM Eastern). Alongside the teaser image on social media, the livestream is already up if you’re a Tales fan and want to set a reminder. Rumor has it the announcement will be Tales of Xillia Remastered, after Bandai Namco Europe accidentally uploaded a YouTube video last week.
It’s worth noting the broadcast airs before Gamescom Opening Night Live, which kicks off at 11:00 AM Pacific (2:00 PM Eastern). If it does turn out to be Tales of Xillia, it would be a good choice, as the game was only available on PlayStation 3 when it launched outside Japan in 2013. Tales of Xillia is the 13th main installment in the storied Tales franchise and stars Jude, Agria, Milla, Alvin, Gaius, and more.
