Assassin’s Creed Unity is the next game to have its release date pushed by two weeks and will now be released for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 11, 2014. Originally set to be released on October 28, the extra two weeks is to give the development team more time to polish the game. According to Assassin’s Creed Unity‘s senior producer, Vincent Pontbriand, “This being a fully next-gen game, it requires a lot of work, a lot of production, and a lot of learning.”

The company stated that it will use the extra time to improve minor aspects of the game and that a day one patch is also in the works to bring more improvements when the game is launched. That also means Assassin’s Creed Unity will be released the same day as Assassin’s Creed Rogue on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America while European gamers will be able to enjoy both titles on November 13.
