Assassin’s Creed Codename Red has gotten its official name, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and we’ll get the official cinematic world premiere trailer on May 15 at 9:00am Pacific (12:00pm Eastern). Considering Ubisoft specifically included “cinematic” in the title, it’s very unlikely we’ll see any gameplay footage. That will likely make its debut during the Ubisoft Forward on June 10, as part of this 2024’s summer gaming showcases.

Not much is known about Assassin’s Creed Shadows, except that it’ll be set in Feudal Japan. Assassin’s Creed Codename Red was originally announced in 2022 during an Ubisoft Forward showcase. Stay tuned, as we’ll learn more on May 15, although we expect the real details won’t emerge until June.
