Alan Wake 2 has revealed its minimum and recommended PC requirements

Recently, the developers behind Cities: Skylines II warned about performance issues, a concern that was already hinted at when the PC requirements were announced. It’s a worrying trend for many recent major PC releases. Minimum and recommended specs are getting increasingly higher, leading me to wonder how much developers really care about optimization on PC. The lack of optimization on PC might be explained by the fact that many of these games are cross-platform and primarily designed for consoles.

Nonetheless, if you’re planning to play Alan Wake 2 on PC, you may want to take a look at the requirements below. As @NikTekOfficial puts it, “An RTX 3070 is starting to become low-end real quick.” Alan Wake 2 heads to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 27, 2023.
