While we prefer to build our own gaming PCs, we understand that’s not an option for everyone. I’m fortunate enough to have a Micro Center nearby, which makes it really easy to go shopping for parts, but not everyone has that luxury. For many, getting a prebuilt PC is simply less of a hassle, and these days, OEM parts are far better than they used to be.

If you’re looking for a gaming desktop PC in the $1500 range, this Alienware Aurora R16 is a really good option. Equipped with an RTX 4070 Ti Super, this prebuilt features a liquid-cooled Intel Core i7-14700F processor, 16GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. It comes with built-in Wi-Fi 6E and includes a Dell Multimedia Keyboard and Optical Mouse. We’d recommend swapping out the included peripherals for your preferred keyboard and mouse.

This is one of the most affordable gaming PCs we’ve seen with an RTX 4070 Ti Super and having a liquid cooler on the i7-14700F helps keep those pesky 14th-generation Intel processors from running too hot. This PC should easily handle 1080p gaming, with solid 1440p performance and even 4K, depending on the title.

If you prefer a prebuilt and you have a decent budget to work with, take a look at this Alienware deal.
