PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers are getting access to some great titles starting on July 18, 2023. Game of the Year winner, It Takes Two, is probably the star of the lineup, assuming you like co-op games. Best of all, you can play with a friend through the Friend’s Pass, meaning they do not need to be a PlayStation Plus subscriber or own the game. In It Takes Two, players take on the role of married couple Cody and May as they get turned into dolls and have to work together to salvage their relationship. The game is full of different gameplay elements and does each one very well. It’s a must-play if you have someone to go on the journey with, we absolutely loved It Takes Two.

Sniper Elite fans can enjoy the latest installment in the series with Sniper Elite 5. For something a little different, Snowrunner is also part of this month’s lineup, a game where players are placed in the driver’s seat of powerful vehicles as they try to conquer extreme open environments. Those looking for a zombie co-op shooter can enjoy the fantastic World War Z that offers up to four-player co-op.

Two more excellent games to enjoy are The Ascent and Undertale. The Ascent is an action-shooter RPG set in a cyberpunk world and is also a great co-op game to take on with your friends. And chances are, you’ve heard of Undertale, one of the biggest indie RPG hits in the last 10 years. For something more casual, there’s SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated.

Anime 2D fighting fans can enjoy Melty Blood: Type Lumina, the latest addition to the series based on the visual romance novel, Tsukihime. Dysmantle is an exploration game featuring crafting and survival elements, as players try to claim the island back area by area. One of the more unique games in this month’s lineup is Circus Electrique, which blends story-driven RPG tactics with circus management in a steampunk setting.

The games rounding out the rest of this month’s lineup include Dynasty Warriors 9, Samurai Warriors 5, My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure, Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R, and Monster Jam Steel Titans.

PlayStation Premium members will get access to the following Classics:

  • Gravity Crash Portable
  • Twisted Metal
  • Twisted Metal 2

If you’re wondering why the Twisted Metal games are heading to PlayStation Plus, it’s because the show starring Anthony Mackie is set to debut on July 27 on Peacock in the U.S.
