Baldur’s Gate 3 is set to launch on PC on August 3, and will be heading to the PlayStation 5 on September 6. Today, Larian Studios revealed more details about the upcoming party-based RPG, along with a release teaser video which you can watch below. Those who preorder the game on PC will receive an automatic upgrade to the Digital Edition for free, while those who preorder the Deluxe Edition on PlayStation 5 will gain 72-hour Early Access along with other exciting bonuses.
Larian Studios is the developer behind the popular Divinity: Original Sin series and looks to be a perfect fit to bring Baldur’s Gate to a modern audience. This next-generation RPG, set in the world of Dungeons and Dragons, will offer a multiplayer mode that focuses on cooperative gameplay. In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Product Manager Emily Gera shares more details on Original characters and The Dark Urge.
Baldur’s Gate 3 features 12 classes and 46 subclasses, and players will be able to further customize their characters through over 600 spells and actions.
