Need a break from the intense action and heavy story of Final Fantasy XVI? Nintendo has released a Pikmin 4 demo, ahead of the game’s official release on July 21, 2023. The demo allows players to create their explorer, meet the Pikmin, and start exploring. Players who choose to purchase the full version of the game can transfer their save file from the demo and pick up right where they left off.

In Pikmin 4, players will have the opportunity to join the Rescue Corps with their own custom character for the first time in the franchise. The goal is to find the rest of the crew and fix the Rescue Corps ship. To do so, players will have to explore a larger-than-life world while being assisted by the plantlike creatures called Pikmin. Players also get Oatchi, a space dog who is the resident good boy and dependable partner.

For those who are new to the Pikmin franchise, Nintendo has also shared a lengthy overview trailer for the upcoming game, which you can watch below.
