The new Games with Gold for May 2023 have been announced, with Star Wars Episode I Racer and Hoa heading to the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Star Wars Episode I Racer will be available from May 1 to May 31, while Hoa can be downloaded from May 16 to June 15.

Star Wars Episode I Racer puts players in the shoes of young Anakin Skywalker or any of the over 21 podracers. Race at speeds up to 600 mph over flaming methane lakes and through meteor showers in this Star Wars-themed racing game.

As a complete contrast to Star Wars Episode I Racer, Hoa has players traveling through a beautiful, mythologically-inspired world. Take on the role of a titular fairy returning to her homeland with the goal of reinvigorating the terrain and its inhabitants. Hoa is a meditative puzzle-platformer featuring hand-painted art and a wonderful soundtrack.
