Star Trek: Resurgence from Dramatic Labs has a release date: May 23. Heading to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Epic Games, the team behind the game is comprised of over 20 former Telltale writers, developers, designers, artists, and producers. And the reason why it will be exclusive to the Epic Games store at launch is because the game is being developed and published independently in partnership with Epic, under license from Paramount.
Officially revealed in 2021, Star Trek: Resurgence appears to follow a similar formula as previous titles from Telltale Games, which means a narrative adventure full of player decisions that may or may not impact the story. Little is known about the premise, other than it takes place after Star Trek: The Next Generation. The story will follow two characters stationed on the U.S.S. Resolute: First Officer Jara Rydek and Engineer Carter Diaz.
