Razer Unveils BlackWidow V4 Pro Mechanical Keyboard

Razer has announced its latest mechanical keyboard, the BlackWidow V4 Pro. Featuring the new Razer Command Dial, this keyboard is packed with dedicated macro keys, Razer Chroma RGB lighting, Razer Mechanical Switches, and dedicated media controls. It uses a 5052 aluminum alloy top case, detachable USB C cables, lubricated stabilizers, and comes with a magnetic plush leatherette wrist rest. The Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro has up to an 8,000 Hz polling rate and has hybrid on-board storage for up to five profiles. Priced at $229.99, you’ll get five dedicated macro keys, three dedicated macro side keys, Doubleshot ABS keycaps, a dedicated media roller with four dedicated media buttons, and USB 2.0 passthrough.

One of the main features of the BlackWidow V4 Pro is the Razer Command Dial, which is preset with eight default modes, ranging from window zooming to browser tab switching. Users can program the dial with up to 100 custom modes, including the ability to map both clockwise and counter-clockwise. As for RGB, the keyboard has per-key lighting, along with 38-zone underglow lighting. Choose from Green Clicky switches for tactile feedback or Yellow Linear switches for smooth and silent action. Razer says both switch types are now rated for up to 100-million keystrokes.
